For what these covers are, they are sold at a good value. But these do NOT replace the GM mirror backing. These covers just stick on like a cap to cover the front chrome side of the mirror. This is a good seller, as they offered a partial refund since I wasn't happy. I used them anyway so I refused the refund. The 3M Tape holds very well for the covers, but it hasn't gotten hot yet. 🤣
