I had to Dremel a tiny bit of metal away (then repaint the bare metal with black paint) on the gear shift side so the lowering arm would sit flush. This only took 10 mins to do. My knees are now not as cramped as they were. The item is well made and quite reasonable to buy.

The quality of the material is a little hollow and flimsy and easily scratched but it does the job as advertised. Good value because the spacers and bolts needed to replace your existing Torx from BMW are included.
