It is made of a fine lightweight linen lawn cloth fabric has a sheer crisp luster sheen, with whitework raised padded satin stitch hand embroidery, French knots, drawn thread cut work eyelet details of flower vine leaf designs. This lovely lawn fabric would have been used to create a dress or skirt. The fabric has a cut missing top corner and measures 44 inches long, 30 inches wide across the bottom. It is in good unused condition with only slight frayed cut edgings. Great for upcycling. This is truly a wonderful piece of whitework embroidery art.”
