Box was not as sturdy as it should have been for shipping an alternator, there were holes in it from the stem of the alternator poking through the cardboard, however, no damage to the part. I work in shipping, there is a thing we use to help us with shipping called "box integrity", to help us make sure the sturdiness of the box is suitable enough for what is being shipped. (Just some advice to prevent possible damage).
