This item has been in its original packaging since 1997 so I wasn't really sure what to expect. When I opened the battery compartment it was very corroded and when I tried to first time it would not stay on continuously. We had to clear out all of the corrosion and some of the bracket connections had to be sanded down and then it would work more reliably. It is superficially very pretty and I like the shell. The item was packaged well and delivered in a timely fashion.
