The product was unopened in its original package, as the seller described. It was well packaged for shipping. The seller clearly described the sale as AS-IS. I'm disappointed, however that the product does not work at all. There was a loose portion of a component loose inside the meter when I opened the box. The meter needle floats randomly when I hold the device. It's difficult to say I'm happy with the transaction, but I'm not in a position to fault the seller.
