Recurves no handshock very impressed. Bamboo is the only way too go!I shoot a lot have several cust.longbows also bamboo. Hope it lasts for a long time. Lots of fun. I contacted the seller but he wanted to see the box and I didnt have it anymore. The quality of the riser is what you get for the price. The brackets are a bit far out from the wood riser so that is not safe for the limbs. My bow started making a very bad noise when I shot in a 3d and I had to drop out.
