Never likely tor the seat up/down function to break again. Mercedes should use this gear to begin with - but then they wouldn't get $800 to $900 to fix it at their stealerships! So glad to have found this item. It saved me hundreds and hundreds. My local mechanic removed the motor, and I replaced the gear, AND put the motor back myself. Thanks so much HWBMW-AUTOPART. YOU ROCK!!!
