Unfortunately did not fit. Mainly my own fault as Mariner Marathon 10HP is not listed on sellers list of engines this recoil pull start fits. I do not think I bother to return it. Maybe I will try to sell it myself, or see if it is possible to use parts of it to the original one, but I do not think it is. The issue is the recoil / spring assembly which was changed. The first ones had a cylinder shaped hole with ball bearing inside to be thread over the axle of the flywheel's retaining nut.
