There was nothing on the outside of the shipping box showing up or down. It also does not come with any sort of wiring diagram. So, for the 110vac US version, black is ground. Tan and blue are power with mine hooked tan to white and blue to black on a standard 120 vac US cord. It works good and is quiet. Itβs well made and includes a service port for the 134 refrigerant.
