I use it in the back of an audio interface because I have many, many more USB C connections and cables than USB A and I thought that rather than get another USB C to A converter I would give this ago. It works a treat, what more can I say, you don't have to swap cables around (in my case I use the USB C outs from an LG 24" Ultrafine) and where I position it keeps minimal cables in view. If you have a good use case like mine I would def recommend it.
