    Exactly as described. Through a jeweller's eye glass this is confirmed as a natural ruby, with heat treatment to improve transparency. This is different from a lab-created ruby which always look a liitle too flawless. A natural ruby is more suitable for a man's ring with subtle tones, not flashy. Not so 'in-your-face'... heat treatment merely continues what nature started when the stone was formed. I'm pleased with it, the delivery was prompt and by courier. Thank you.
