Synopsis
The tale of a writer who has a bad car accident out in the country. He is "rescued" by a psychopath who holds him hostage until he finally builds the strength to escape., After an almost fatal car crash, novelist Paul Sheldon finds himself being nursed by a deranged fan who holds him captive, The #1 New York Times bestseller about a famous novelist held hostage in a remote location by his ¿number one fan.¿ One of ¿Stephen King¿s best¿genuinely scary¿ (USA TODAY). Paul Sheldon is a bestselling novelist who has finally met his number one fan. Her name is Annie Wilkes, and she is more than a rabid reader¿she is Paul¿s nurse, tending his shattered body after an automobile accident. But she is also furious that the author has killed off her favorite character in his latest book. Annie becomes his captor, keeping him prisoner in her isolated house. Annie wants Paul to write a book that brings Misery back to life¿just for her. She has a lot of ways to spur him on. One is a needle. Another is an axe. And if they don¿t work, she can get really nasty. ¿Terrifying¿ (San Francisco Chronicle), ¿dazzlingly well-written¿ (The Indianapolis Star), and ¿truly gripping¿ (Publishers Weekly), Misery is ¿classic Stephen King...full of twists and turns and mounting suspense¿ (The Boston Globe).

Shipped promptly, (shipping time was not sellers fault) packaged very professionally and well and looks just as described and appears as in the listing photos. I’m so excited to get this little guy. I’ve had my eye on it for a while on the Anthropologie website and the shipping time was going to be quite a bit to get from them so I’m so happy I found this gem of a shop and was able to get it in nearly perfect condition for about the same price but it was worth it. Thank you so much!

The seller sent me the pick-up address & directions on how to get there as well as a phone number in case I needed to contact the seller, so it was very easy to pick up my purchase. The book I purchased was exactly as described & it was the 2nd volume of a 2-volume set (I already owned Volume 1), so it looks like the two books (and their slipcases) were always part of the same set! I would DEFINITELY purchase from this seller again!!!
