Synopsis
As a Steelers broadcaster, analyst, and former offensive tackle, Tunch Ilkin has lived and breathed Pittsburgh football for the better part of the last four decades. With In the Locker Room: Tales of the Pittsburgh Steelers from the Playing Field to the Broadcast Booth , Ilkin provides insight into the Steelers' inner sanctum as only he can. Featuring conversations with players past and present as well as off-the-wall anecdotes, this is a reader's ticket to some of the most memorable moments and characters in Steel City football history., As a Pittsburgh Steelers broadcaster, analyst, and offensive tackle. Tunch Ilkin has lived and breathed Steelers football for the better part of the last four decades. He presented Chuck Noll with his final gameball and Bill Cowher with his first. He not only played under both coaching luminaries during his 14-year playing career, but also blocked for Terry Bradshaw on Sundays and faced off against "Mean" Joe Greene during weekdays. Along with these stones, he details anecdotes on Troy Polamalu, Antonio Brown, Ben Roethlisberger, and Mike Tomlin, whom he covered from the booth and the sideline. Whether providing insight into the Steelers' Super Bowl titles, the team-sanctioned basketball squad of the 1980s, or training camp pranks against Jack Lambert, In the Locker Room: Tales of the Pittsburgh Steelers from the Playing Field to the Broadcast Booth is your ticket to some of the most memorable moments and characters in Iron City football history. - m***l (1331)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThis was a great transaction! Great seller, great communication, great packaging. The card was in excellent condition and appearance, great postcard and was even better than described. The price was great too, as she considered and accepted my offer. The shipping was super fast. I appreciate the additional time and effort to package it right and ship it securely. I could not be happier.
- k***e (727)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseShipping was fine; quick enough and postcard enclosed in the standard eBay mailer envelope. Postcard arrived in, apparently, the same condition as listed. The postcard arrived with a rough bottom edge. The listing said it could have some damage, so check photos. But the postcard scans in the listing were slightly cropped and the edge in question was just slightly cut off, so I could not see quite how much damage the edge had. But it's not a big enough issue to return.
