This CD will take you from organ music to full orchestra, and a medieval village to New York City with and features vocals from myself - Danny Taddei, my wife Korin Taddei and our friend, Kori Garner. I arranged and recorded these songs because of my love for the season and these are my favorites. These arrangements are from my own heart, for my own ears. I love the traditional music that we all grew up on but the flavor was a bit to old and stale for me so I set out to make something that felt traditional but tasted just a bit fresher. If you would rather listen to instrumental arrangements of these songs, you should check out my CD "Joy To The World: An Instrumental Christmas". It's very similar to this CD, only with subtle changes to make it sound right for flutes, clarinets and other orchestral instruments to play the melodies. Every song on every CD has clips so you can listen before you buy. I know people know me for tropical island style music and this is nothing along those lines, though I am about to release a Christmas CD for sailors, soon. What most people don't know about me is that I have been scoring for film for decades. This is something more along the flavor of what you might find in a Christmas movie.
