I love the look on my cello, it's not tacky at all, very classy. I was afraid it might change the sound a lot, but I can report I love the feel on my 1922 cello, which still sounds like itself after the switch from a regular steel rod. Maybe a bit more high-frequency content, but this warm brightness could very well be happening in my head only. Fast shipping.
