Something about how the finials on the king, queen and bishops have the opposing pieces color. That just looks like the right way to go. This is my first Bud Rosewood set and the deep red color is stunning. Add in the opposing color finials, cherry on top of a sundae! Great job in how the individual pieces are bubble wrapped for shipping. Royal Chess Mall is first class!
