        The photo is lovely! I am one of the historians for Historic Ellicott City, Inc. and will be displaying it at one of Milltown Teas held at the Museum of Howard County History. A portrait of Roberta H Archer, 1859 (a vice principal of the Patapsco Female Institute 1837~ 1890 )was donated and is now restored and will be the subject of our presentation. Lila Pollock was a portrait painter, sister,Loulie a miniaturist.Her father, Henry, was also an artist as well as a daguerreotypist. KGšŸ‘
