- e***0 (1)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseThis is pretty much what one would expect for the price. The horn looks nice and seems to be fairly well-constructed. The valves are smooth. The tuning slide needs some. Unlike a traditional trombone that screws together, the valve section slides into the bell section and then is tightened with a thumb screw. It allows the bell section to move away from the valve section while playing. The mouthpiece is a bit small and shallow and does not sound good on lower notes. Fixed that using a 12c.

They do not come sharpened, not as described, but not a huge deal as I have a grinder and files and sharpening blocks. The tip profile of the larger one was a bit different than the pictures, and it also has a slight warp, but not bad. The small blade does have a pretty bad S shaped warp throughout the whole blade. The scabbards are constructed pretty well but very tight, and the largest one does not fit at all. I'm getting better scabbards anyway.
