I was using it in my gas car and sometimes when I fill up it smells like pure gasoline almost like there is a seal leak. So this was the answer to get it to smell good inside my car. Does it work outside om terms of the exhaust smell, somewhat. It smells good to me and that's all I care about. The scent I got was Pina colada but I'll try a different fragrance next time. If anything you can use it as an air freshner. Yes it's mostly made for methanol as it doesn't really have a scent.
