Purchased struts from other retailers, never fit. One strut is different than the other from the factory. Autoparts geek got it correct on the 1st try, Part is Chinese (as described), however quality is like OEM and half the price. Installed today, works perfectly.

Almost a year in, hood struts still working like-new. No leakage and are still offer "resistance" when pushing up and closing hood. They are also still retaining the 3 ("popped", half and service) hood positions. A+++
