This Seagate 500 GB hard drive is one of the quietest hard drives around, with barely any sound being emitted due to its 2.8 bels idle and 3.2 bels seeks acoustic system. The Seagate Barracuda runs at a high speed of 7200 RPM and has a 3D defense system and an external data transfer rate of 300 Mbps. The internal data transfer rate of this Seagate 500 GB hard drive hard drive is 70 Mbit/s. Interfaces that this internal hard drive runs on include SATA I and SATA II. The Seagate 500 GB hard drive is 1.03 inches tall by 5.79 inches wide by 4 inches deep and weighs 1.57 lbs.
