    This part is not compatible with the Garmin 2597LMT as advertised. The connector of this model will have the connections on the wrong side of the flex trace. They are claiming to me (I'm a retired Garmin employee) that the 2597LMT has too different models (wrong). I was given a 40 pin model and I'm being told I need the 67 pin model (that they don't sell). Totally wrong part. Do not purchase!!
