This is the version of how Sonic met Eggman that has it make sense that he did. it was respectful of Sonic to interpret that he could swim or jump way too high or would use his speed enough to get a camera to taunt Eggman. It was smart of Eggman that he could instantly bring back the wrecking ball after the boss fight of Marble Zone. The plot has one of the most believable ways Eggman got made a villain, he was distracted while using the machine.
