The art is remarkable but this book needs further editing. Only some of the text under a work states the medium and the surface it's painted on - all of them should have that plus the size of the original would have been useful. Each artist should have had a separate paragraph in chronological order which would have made it easier to learn about an individual and his contemporaries.
