    During auction I asked about lenses on this trunk specifically (which I needed) & was told they were uncracked. Seller didn’t use a box, just wrapped the trunk in thin (1/8”) foam padding and thin plastic sheathing. Lenses arrived cracked. Seller sent a cryptic response when I informed him: “Are you using the item for parts? Did you plan on repairing the original item?” (?!???) and then ghosted me after I proposed a partial refund ( 1/3 of the shipping cost). $26 to ship a 99 cent part. :(

    Beware buyer showed pictures of replacement lenses that were broken from his item to be repaired, not the assembled item I shipped to him. He complains about FedEx shipping cost and tricks you to do refund.

    Anybody that likes to collect 78s knows these records are very brittle and are easily damaged in shipping. Captured4U is a seller that knows this and his packaging techniques are second to none. I would buy more 78s from this seller.
