Notes
Forge is a band who knows where they came from; the fertile soil of good old guitar-driven rock and roll. From the southern stylings of Lynyrd Skynyrd to the 80s rock of Van-Halen and Rush to the sound of todays contemporary rock artists, Forge blends their influences into some of the clearest, most honest guitar-rock around. They skillfully blend rock, blues, progressive rock and pop into a smorgasbord of tunes sure to please. Guitarist/singer/songwriter Pete Lampron has been an artist on Nashville's Wild Oats Records, and is a veteran NE performer with miles of blazing guitar work having passed under his wheels. His voice has been described by songwriting legend Scotty Turner as 'quite an instrument' and his guitar playing as 'gorgeous' by Boston Soundcheck Magazine. Bassist/singer/songwriter Mike Pollini creates a trifecta of skills by playing the bass like a master, singing and contributing his songwriting to the sound of Forge. Mike's experience has brought him to the stage and studio with a host of local and national talent, and his mix of both melodic and hammering bass lines have earned him the aptly chosen nickname of 'Thunderfingers'. Fred Hebert has been behind a set of drums (or at least pots and pans) since he was old enough to sit upright. His consistent, creative and dynamic style combines skillful artistry with sheer rhythmic power. His live performances fuel the beating heart of Forge and his professionalism and dedication to his craft are legendary.
