It came ready built, all I had to do was put the feet on which is came with all the necessary bolts and Alan key. I have lit the fire and it works as expected. Absolutely perfect heat source, the room gets warm quickly and there is no smell and no fumes/smoke. I have yet to find a downside. I highly recommend getting one of these.
