I don't remember if the motherboard came with the BIOS up to date, but it successfully posted with a "Ryzen 5 5500" and a "Ryzen 9 5900x". I was also able to use a "GIGABYTE Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB" GPU with no problems. Please understand this is a consumer motherboard and not a workstation/enterprise. While virtualization can be done, IOMMU support is TERRIBLE and not worth the headache. For gaming purposes, this board is great!
