Skillfully re-backed with contemporary spine laid down. Marbled end papers are original (see photos). Attractive binding with the patina of an antiquarian book. The text is tightly bound and the pages are clean with no spotting. The inscription on the front endpaper reads “From The Author”. The 3 maps have tape repairs on the verso and one short tear in the margin, (see photos). A heavy (5 Lb ) solid copy that appears to have had little use.”
