No place of publication given, but possibly India (and wartime production), not usual features of America publications. Hardcover, with sewn binding, but the material over the boards is apparently uncoated paper. The color was light blue-green, now deeply tanned on spine and edges. Small dark spots on back. Ends of spine and corners curled, at top two short sections worn through to boards. End papers mottled brown, possibly from binder's glue. (Mottling can be seen in photo of title page.) Many dark speckles on title page, not affecting legibility, some stains on edges of text block. No markings seen on opened pages.”
