An absolutely wonderful clock in a lovely porcelain case surmounted by charming and perfectly portrayed parrots! What a treasure! The Lenzkirch clock inside is a fine thing, too, and a good clockmaker will soon have it ready for regular use. The colors of the porcelain case, especially the clock face, are enchanting in gentle, lively blues and greens. The extremely fine gilt tracery is miraculously as perfect as when applied! This deserves a place of honor at the center of a fine mantelpiece!
