I'm sorry you were not happy! These were from the 1930s & 1940s, listed as VINTAGE and WELL USED. Most people do not want any alterations to VIntage items as it decreases value. I took detailed pictures. You should have bought these new if that was what you wanted. I did offer you your money back as well, as the very small one sells for much more than you got the whole set for. That said, I am still apologizing for your unhappiness.
