This seller did not seem to know what he was selling. Certainly, he never opened the Shimano cassette box to check if the item inside matched the packaging. He saw clear plastic inside the box and assumed it was wrapping, when in fact it is a universal plastic sleeve meant to hold the cassette in place. He mistakenly sold the item as "New" when it was obvious from the outside of the box the item had road grime on it. I got the impression these mistakes were not deception, just ignorance.
