Great little radio. It’s set up to be a mobile radio in a vehicle, just plug & play. Seller sends things very quickly. This radio performs on 2M, 70cm, and GMRS. If you want it at home, you’ll need to source a power supply. I had success with this project and bought a 12v switching power supply and connected a female end 12v car socket. In an emergency when the power goes out, you can run this radio from your vehicle. Antenna recommend n9tax j or a dual band magnetic mount. Both on eBay.

Fast ship. Great little radio for a vehicle. Just plug in and go. So small, it fit in my dash. They do provide prog software, but I’m a Mac owner, and could not utilize it. Even with the fact that I had to prog this radio manually, w paper inst, I got it working with tones and chan #s. It would be great if CHIRP supported this model. The prev one, the 778 is prog with CHiRP, but I prefer this model’s size and 12v power plugin. You could use this radio indoor with a pwr adapter.
