The open end of the wrench fit, but the nut was on so tight that the wrench bent. I had to jam wood against the blade to assist. The package came with a warning that it could bend if used on the nut, so I knew it was a possibility when the nut wasn't coming loose. Probably not the wrench's fault but it's disappointing to spend $28 and have it bend the first time I use it. It helped do the trick though, so, still a positive experience.
