I was hoping to hold ten vitamin pills in each container, however each container holds just four "regular sized" fish oil capsules. The picture showing the large amount of pills is misleading and I should have paid more attention to the measurements stated. Nevertheless this item is very well made and great for travel. I'm still keeping and recommend if you need for about four vitamin capsules per day.
