    Dear Larry: I was so surprised to find that the book was dedicated to a friend of my father's John Ruth. John was a graduate of St. John's University as an accountant. My father met him by accident when John was sent home from the hospital with a broken leg and just left to survive on his own in his apartment in Southampton. John was the brother of Luke Ruth. Dad became great friends with John. John helped Dad with keeping the books for the family plumbing business. Thank you so much
