Notes
2014 vinyl LP reissue of the 1982 original. "Mister Yellowman" is Yellowman's first album with producer Henry "Junjo" Lawes, and undoubtedly one of his best. With vocals by the Roots Radics and Earl "Chinna" Smith's Hi Times band, this mix of dancehall-infected rhythms was only polished by Lawes. Themes include ennui, jadedness with institutions and bureaucracy, sexual trysts and lost love, with the most colorful track being "Yellowman Getting Married," a wild mix that posits the DJ as the perfect husband-even as we're all in on the joke. Yellowman is the voice of the everyday Jamaican, and a masterful DJ whose songs grow on you.

- _***n (145)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseThe CD "NASHVILLE GUITARS - 16 SUPER HITS" is brand new, sealed in its original packaging, as advertised. The disc itself is of good quality. It was packaged in a bubble wrap and suffered no damage during shipping. The seller always responds to messages and is attentive to the buyer. I'm very pleased with my purchase. Thank you very much! I wish the seller all the best!
- a***_ (117)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseFor context, the government is shut down and the US Postal Service has been a bit sluggish during Oct. 2025 Despite that, a tracking number was provided quickly and shipping was quite prompt. The LP was brand new (and worth the price, a very high quality pressing!) as described with 0 damage to package, cellophane, etc. The LP was packed in a brand new LP-sized media-mailer with a tear-off for easy opening and no risk of damage from a knife. These guys really know their stuff! A++
