It looks new and came in original packaging complete with instructions. That's better than expected. IMHO this is one of the best adapters ever made and I have another one still in use after 20 years. Unfortunately, this one came with only 3 connectors and says so on the box. My original had 5. They eliminated the one I needed. No wonder Radio Shack went out of business, lol.
