Used for my sennheiser 6xx 300 ohm.for slight improvement in sound with a little less turn on the volume knob. At max volume it is way too loud. Real audiophile quality is $100's more. However does not seem to diminish the sound of my Sennheiser 6xx but boosts the sound volume. Also I think the sound quality is improved .
