Should be up front with buyers and inform them that the product has been reduced because the emblem is not centered on said hat.?

Was not contacted about any problem with this. There was no "up front" - hat was bought and sold by me as a good hat, not a "second" or flawed. Photos do not show that it is off center, and we did not notice anything unusual. Sorry that you see it differently.
