Luckily this item had a eBay return guarantee because it had to go back to seller. To say this covers all makes and models is not accurate. My Evinrude required a self tapping screw and washer to hold it on to the lower end. The packaged was shipped with a hex bolt as if all Evinrude's have female threads in the lower end to screw the bolt into. Thi exchange cost me an additional $8.25 to return.
