Most shade sail material is 3m in width so they have to sew it together. If you look around most shade sails have seams. The only way not to get on is to get a custom made one out of Australia made Monotec 370 series its 6.5m wide so no seams. The have a great colour range and material is 370gsm. The Shady Lady range is 280gsm, the both have similar UV ratings. A thicker material does alway offer more UV protection but may have longer Lifespan.
