The sensor was pretty dirty, though that's easy enough to fix. But the shutter is starting to show its age; shoot faster than 1/500 and an over-exposed streak is left at the top of the image (common with this camera, I've read). Also, the charger indicates that the batteries are bad. I haven't had a problem, yet, but its not a good sign. Probably the charger is the problem - time will tell.
