This was a great price and is the cross bar specifically for my Subaru forester. The instructions stated that you needed a Torqx #30 screw driver. However, the kit included an L shaped #30 Torqx wrench so no extra tools were really needed. I also used a step stool to reach the top of the Subaru and a hand mirror to adjust the screws underneath the cross bars. I had been looking at generic cross bar kit, but this kit is specifically for my Subaru Forester which is a lot better,
