I purchased this item thinking it was an IDE hard drive, but it was in fact a SATA. The seller alerted me BEFORE shipping the item, what the format was to make sure it was what I needed. When I noticed it was in fact not what I wanted, the seller offered to cancel the sale. I was really impressed, and did cancel. I think it was great that they took the initiative to handle the issue before shipping.
