This means you can safely insert the connector. Simply line the pins on the internal iPod board up with the drive, and it can lock in place automatically. Very little pressure is necessary, which can help reduce strain on the hard case.This type of connector only draws around 500mA. This means your new drives draw little from the battery of the device, so more battery life can be available to the CPU and GPU in your player. If not, then it reads the information from the buffer and moves it to another location on disk. The massive 120 GB capacity can give it more than enough space to handle the task. Once it's successfully relocated the data to a new block, the controller firmware automatically marks the old block as bad. This can keep media files safe and increases the lifespan of the platters.
