Works perfectly..   however, it is a slightly different starter than the factory Massey Ferguson, 231 starter,  it works fine, however, the starter body is a bit bigger,  which makes it almost impossible to get the back  bolt in.  I had to grind a 5/8in socket for super thin sidewalls to be able to get the bolt in ,  but well worth it a great deal,  and a high-quality product.  100%  satisfied.
