My strings have the proper break angle on my Jaguar, so this type of bridge works perfectly well. All of the complaints about the vintage bridge come from people not setting up their guitars as they were designed. I have nothing bad to say about Mastery or Staytrem bridges, but this is a great way to not drop $300 to get your guitar intonated and playing well.
